How To Make Baked Stuffed Fish Fillets
After a day out fishing there is nothing nicer than sitting down with a meal of fish we have caught ourselves and these Baked Stuffed Fish Fillets can be baking while we enjoy a hot cup of freshly brewed coffee or a glass of wine!
What You'll Need
5-6 Fish Fillets
2 cups Fresh Bread - cubed
1 Small Onion - finely chopped
1 Green Pepper - blanched and finely Chopped
8 oz Imitation Crabmeat
1/4 cup Lemon Juice
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
Salt & Pepper to taste
Step 1
Place in a large bowl the bread, onion, green pepper, crabmeat, lemon juice mayonnaise and seasonings and mix together till combined.
Step 2
Place equal portions of the stuffing mix on each fish fillet, roll them up and secure with toothpicks.
Step 3
Bake for 30 minutes.
- It's good with flounder fillets, but any white fish will do.
- I've used large cod and catfish fillets and butterflied them, just enough so you can roll it up over the stuffing.
