Camping supplies for a big party?
I have 3 months to get together camping supplies for a 4 day festival.... food isnt an issue and i dont need to worry about showers, bathroom or cooking.
what are some good things to bring with me ?
Im planning on having the best time of my life...

Sonny answers:
I agree with the other answer here... GOOD JOB.
I will add>> camping lanterns or flashlights. Hot dog sticks for them or marsh mellows. Maybe a radio. A table cloth is always nice to cover the pic nic table. And don't forget the pillows LOL
Have a great time... I know you will love it.. I am jealous

Robert asks…
What are some supplies needed for camping with 3 dogs?
we have 3 dogs a b 1yr bloodhound and 2 7yr old labs were planning on taking them camping with us we have a truck that we are going to put them in. this is the first time we have taken all of them what are some supplies we will need.
the truck has a bed cover over it so they can't jump out.

Sonny answers:
1) a fiberglas crate for each dog. You never know when camping if you need to confine you're dog for safety reasons.
2) Dog bowls for food and water. Best is stainless steal because they clean up well.
3) basic first aid kit. Most products in a first aid kit for humans is the same for animals. Only thing you want to make sure you have is bandages that you could wrap there paw if the pads become cracked.
4) tough pads. This is a great product if you are going to hike around with you're dogs. Its a sticky substance that you spray on you're dogs foot and its acts as a sealant.
5) make sure all you're leashes and collars are new and wont break.

Any ideas on how to clean cast iron camping supplies?
I have a great number of cast iron pans and pots, even griddles for camping and they seem to rust every year and then I have to "season" them again any hints to help keep them in good shape to use every year?

Sonny answers:
Cook a few pieces of bacon in each skillet, pot, and pan every once in a while. After the grease has cooled but is still in a liquid form, coat the pan with the grease, drain off the excess but don't wash it out.
Simply wipe it thoroughly clean with a few paper towels and store each one in a separate paper bag. Keep them in a reasonably dry place like a food
pantry or perhaps the cabinet where you keep your other pots and pans (think dry). Where ever you decide to keep them, give them a check peek every 2 or 3 months.
... Good luck and have fun camping

What are your jungle camping/hiking supplies, gadgets and must haves?
Please advise on what kind of things you wished you had while hiking and camping in the jungle. I know that the basics will be covered but you list those as well just so I can be sure I am not missing anything. I love gadgets so feel free to include those as well.
Please make list with Peru in mind.
Thanks!
